Bri Rose-Baker writes the kinds of stories she loves to read: contemporary, a little strange, slightly haunted, and deeply human. She believes all art is a conversation, one between the maker and themselves, between the maker and the world, and between the maker and whoever finds the work and breathes their own meaning into it.

Her literary horror blends the real with the funhouse, the gentle with the challenging. She believes stories can take us into dark places, but good ones always hand us a ladder on the way out. Bri writes with the moment of resurfacing in mind, hoping readers return with fuller hearts, new experiences, maybe some tears, but always feeling held.
